Amanda C. Zinn
                              

Amanda joined Leadership Baltimore County, Inc. (LBC) after eight years of running her own consulting firm, eCubed, which provided capacity building services to nonprofit organizations on topics such as strategic planning, board governance, fund development, program design and evaluation, human resources and strategic partnerships.  Amanda is a Licensed Consultant with the Standards for Excellence®, an ethics and accountability code for the nonprofit sector.  In addition to working with nonprofits, Amanda provided assistance to small businesses through developing business plans, researching and writing marketing plans and conducting feasibility studies.  Prior to launching eCubed, Amanda served as the President & CEO of Women Entrepreneurs of Baltimore, Inc. (WEB) for 12 years.  A nonprofit organization, WEB’s mission is to ignite the passion and drive of women to build strong businesses that lift up communities and families. Under Amanda’s leadership, WEB spawned 1800 businesses with an 86% retention rate.

                   

Amanda has been very active in the community.  Currently, she is the Board Chair for Overcoming Poverty Together, Inc. (OPT) which works internationally to empower women to fight poverty.  She also serves on the Board of Directors of Benevolent Baskets which works with homeless women to empower them to become independent.  Previously, Amanda served as the President of the Association of Women’s Business Centers, on the Board of Directors of the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce and with numerous other nonprofit organizations.
